Step One: Window Film Consultation
COMMERCIAL
One of our contractors will perform an on-site consultation to learn more about your property concerns and goals for commercial consultations. This may be something like a design consultation for advertising window films or a premium safety assessment for security film systems for commercial jobs. After the initial consultation, we’ll be able to provide our scope of commercial solutions.
RESIDENTIAL
We bring most products with us in residential consultation, unless you are looking for custom decorative films. During the initial walkthrough, our contractor will examine all your windows, take some initial measurements, show you samples and give you pricing on the spot. We can then install the window film immediately after consulting with you or scheduling something for another time. The choice is yours!
Step Two: Window Film Preparation
COMMERCIAL
Commercial projects always require approval of the custom decorative design or other film product you have chosen o have installed. We will provide all of this information during preparation if you require other special needs like specific security clearance and background checks for our installers. We then clean all of your windows for applications using our proprietary process for commercial projects.
RESIDENTIAL
At homes, we start by thoroughly cleaning your windows with a razor blade and then use our proprietary process for residential projects. Then we will have you sign off on which products are to be installed on which windows and get started. Since we bring our materials with us, we can cut everything to size right on-site, fitting each window with film as we go. This ensures minimal wasted product and a streamlined installation process.
Step Three: Window Film Installation
During installation, we measure the window and make corresponding cuts for custom applications. We ensure all surfaces have been properly cleaned during the preparation stage. Our standard is to utilize C-Bond as a window film primer to fortify both the glass and the window film product. Using this product is beneficial because it offers quicker cure times and better adhesion resulting in the most durable window film possible.
Post-Installation
Once installation is complete, we thoroughly clean our working area to make it look like we were never there. We ask that you do not clean your windows for 30 days. Window film needs time to cure, and any disturbance can impact the integrity of your film. Bubbles can occur during the natural drying process- never pop these bubbles because this will affect your window film performance. Simply contact us immediately if this happens, and we will take care of the issue quickly and at no cost.
